Church and Gym sound control options are listed below with associated photos and descriptions. We have worked with many architects, contractors, churches, schools and individual owners to assist in the sound control of these multi-purpose rooms. Sound quality in large open community spaces can be improved with planning, expert advice and quality sound control products .
Sound Control – Church & Gym
We offer several options for the reverberation, or echo, that can make it hard to hear in these areas.
Fabric Wrapped Panels
Acoustical Wall Panels are functional and architecturally pleasing fabric wrapped acoustical panels. Mechanically mounted to walls and ceilings, they are an attractive way to solve your reverberant noise problems. Many large community spaces would benefit, and have greatly improved sound quality, from using acoustic panels without altering the aesthetics of the space.
Baffles
Acoustical ceiling baffles are an economic solution to solving noise problems in multi-purpose rooms, gyms, cafeterias, aquatic facilities and auditoriums to name a few. Typically 24” x 48” with grommets for ceiling suspension, these light weight, easy to install acoustical absorbers are an excellent solution for reducing the “echo” common in large spaces.
Acoustic Banners
Ceiling Banners provide excellent sound absorption. They are especially effective and cost efficient for facilities that require large amounts of sound absorption. These banners are easily cleanable because of their PVC covering, and are designed to hang vertically from or parallel to the ceiling via grommets and/or wooden mounting stays.
Acoustic Foam
We offer a full line of acoustic foam to meet your noise control needs. Foam wall panels are an economical and effective solution for lowering noise reverberating within a room where the walls, floors, and ceilings are constructed of hard noise reflective surfaces. Available in a wide variety of styles and colors.
Barrier
Noise control barrier or mass loaded vinyl is a simple solution to reduce “break-out noise” emanating through walls, floors, and ceilings. These rolls of reinforced noise barrier are easily installed and provide superior noise blocking characteristics when in addition to your standard building material structure.
Duct Lagging
Unger’s DL-10LAG Acoustic Duct Lagging is a lagging, composite material that is typically used to wrap noisy pipes and ducts to block the noise that transmits through the walls of the pipe or duct as air or other contents move through.
