Acoustical Consultant Services
eNoise Control provides a full range of acoustical consultant/engineer services. As your acoustical consultant, we can provide professional engineering services including a sound survey, acoustic engineer, noise analysis, feasibility studies and expert witness testimony.
Our focus, concentration, and expertise revolve around in-plant noise evaluation and solutions along with outdoor environmental sound readings and property line issues/resolutions. Our clients lean on us for our expertise, long history of experience and knowledge on acoustics and decibel level readings for their acoustic consulting application.
About Acoustical Consulting
Acoustical consultants specialize in sound engineering. They are highly educated and certified professionals who have expertise in sound, vibration and the application of acoustics. Overall, their goal is to reduce sound at the source while considering other aspects such as design and analysis.
Acoustical consultants can assist clients with a variety of use cases. They can help reduce noise from concert stadiums, mitigate sound from construction sites and deafen the annoying hum of corporate/industrial HVAC systems.
Additionally, an acoustical consultant can assist with the engineering of positive sound. For example, acoustical consultants can assist in providing concert halls with the highest quality acoustics for the best audio experience.
Acoustical consultants accurately measure the sound, analyze the site and determine what products would best suit the specific needs of that client.
Highlighted Acoustical Consultant Services:
- Comprehensive Sound Surveys
- Complete Noise Mapping
- Engineered Feasibility Studies
- Property Line Measurements and Sound Readings
- Environmental Noise Mitigation Noise Barrier Analysis
- OSHA, MSHA Compliance & Hearing Conservation Programs
- Dosimeter Work & Monitoring
- Project Management, Consultant, and Turn-Key Noise Control Programs
- Industrial In-Plant Sound Survey and Engineering
In-Plant Noise Surveys
In-plant Noise Surveys involve decibel noise measurements in dBA (A-weighted) and 1/3rd octave band scale. We would conduct near and far field sound analysis to prioritize noise levels and noise exposure to workers. Our acoustical consultant can provide this data can be plotted on a floor plan (i.e. AutoCad submittal) to produce a sound survey. Additional noise dosimeter measurements can be taken to provide and calculate Time Weighted Averages (TWA) for worker noise exposure. All this detailed information will be used to develop a feasible noise control plan and an acoustic report.
Sound Readings & Noise Assessment
We specialize on In-Plant noise assessments and Property Line (Environmental) Sound Readings. Our clients are typically manufacturing facilities that have noisy equipment and processes that are causing worker noise exposure. eNoise can assist in this noise assessment and help develop a plan to lower this noise exposure.
Other clients include commercial or industrial facilities with noisy outdoor HVAC units, dust collectors, blower stacks, data centers, bitcoin mining, etc. that are causing neighboring property noise complaints. eNoise can come on-site to take calibrated sound level readings near the equipment and property lines. This can be important for record keeping and assessing sound level compliance with local noise ordinances.
We carry a Type 1, Larson Davis 831 sound level meter. Our meter records dBA, octave band and 1/3rd octave band sound levels. This sophistication allows us to evaluate the sound level and the frequency levels. Our professional services would include on-site measurements, evaluation and full follow up acoustic report.
Our team has over 25+ years experience. We are very familiar with most all industrial and commercial applications causing in-plant noise exposure and outdoor property line noise complaints.
Community Noise
eNoise Control can conduct property line noise readings and evaluate your local noise ordinance. Services typically include measurement and analysis of environmental noise (i.e. HVAC equipment, Exhaust Stacks, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Generators, Burners, etc.) to determine compliance with the applicable City, State, and/or Federal community noise guidelines. This data can be used to develop noise control recommendations (i.e. Sound Barrier Walls, Sound Enclosures, Stack Silencers, etc.) and consultant designs. eNoise will use computer-aided modeling techniques to determine our engineering recommendations.
Noise Control, OEM Evaluation, Noise Monitoring, Employee Noise Exposure, Dosimeter Readings, are included in our acoustic consulting and engineering services offered.
